Fiberglass is also used for environmental sampling applications, passive lubrication of machine gears and fragrance dispersion units.  Some designs of fiberglass work great with bio-fuels.  Most of our fiberglass wicks are made out of fiberglass yarns that are either braided or knitted. This particular style is completely un-braided, so your working with the raw fiberglass roving yarn.  Series number UBG9 wick measures a somewhat flat 1/8" plus/minus and consists of stranded fibers; UBG250 wick measures a somewhat round 1/8" plus/minus and consists of stranded fibers.

Both options measure about 1/8 inch (3.18 mm) diameter. It is an un-braided strand of fiberglass measuring 10 yards (9.14 meters) per spool.  Select style Flat or Round.
